Didn't end up pretty for me. We raced from about a 30 roll and he put about 2 trucks on me, then from a 20 roll and put about 2 trucks on me, then from a dig and put about 3 trucks on me. It may have been worse than that too. He'll get on here and tell for sure. Thiems' got a clean good runnin truck no doubt. I on the other hand, have some work to do before I do anymore racin

 

I would say that those descriptions were pretty accurate. We both spun pretty good from the dig. I completely forgot to get them on camera until I got home but it was too late...oh well. If he had his nitrous, I'm thinking that it would have been the other way around on the races. Plus, I believe he is getting himself some gears and has a cam on the way. Instead of selling my nitrous, I'm starting to think about hooking it up for some more good races...

 

Trust me...KEEP THE NITROUS. You've already found a good deal on yours. I bought mine for $350 bucks, bottle, heater, solenoids...When I had mine for sale, I started pricin how much another kit just like what I had would cost...close to a 1k. Well it was fun none the less. We'll go again someday

holy crap, gears made that much of a difference between the 2 trucks, it looks like you 2 have almost the same mods.. huh

 

you both sound like you have a nitrous kit installed, were either of you spraying?

 

No nitrous for me. I ran out last night. And thiems' isn't even hooked up. The things I can come up with are the weight difference, 4700(his) to my 5200, and gears. dirt_track_racer_81 put a damn good tune on it so I'm thinkin my 3.23's is whats killin me the most. Not tryin to take anything away from thiems, that truck runs damn good. But I'll get some gears and my cam installed and try it out again

 

Our mods are pretty much exactly the same (except for different brands and different tunes...speed density vs. wait4me). Getting those gears and cam in there should do the trick...if not, something is wrong. My only hope is for you to struggle without a stall. My truck is usually lighter than most other equally equipped trucks for some reason. We both have nitrous but his was out and mine wasn't hooked up...either way, I'm looking forward to some more races and this time we will get them on tape...
