i raced an 84 chevy rcsb last night. Pretty close race actually. alot better than what i thought it was gonna be. I couldnt use nitrous because my bottle is empty. but the mods are in my sig. All i know about his is he has a 383 stroker said to have 6xxx dollars in the motor. a 3000 stall and he either had slciks or dr, I couldnt tell it was dark. He only beat me by maybe two trucks. His motor sounded really healthy. He was runnin on race gas too, dunno if it made a difference fo him.

 

Sounds like a good time. You cant win them all.LOL. I love those old trucks, I have an 85 that I have many plans for.

 

my old next door neighbor from when i lived in cali had a 1957 stepside. he put a 383 in it also, 2800 stall, bottle fed, 3:91's, 11.5 drag radials, some type of crazy 4 spd b&m tranny. i had my 2006 gto with a 150 shot, intake mani, full exhaust, catless wit borla mufflers, dyno tuned and on 10.0 drag radials and he smoked me like i was standing still. id say he beat me by 3-4 cars. my gto put down 530 rwhp and 560 rwtq so i know he was putn down some good numbers. but hey, cant win em all

 

yup i used to have a 86 gmc. had the 383 almost built. got laid off and had to sell my toy! i was sad to say the least. thats when my truck now became my hobby. i told him let me get my bottle filled and it will be a different story altogether! muhahaha!

 

for sure man! that bottle definately helps. what motor do you have and what size shot are you running? wet or dry, by who?

 

i have a 5.3 and im runnin a wet 100 shot. kit is cold fusion with nitrous outlets plate. i like it alot. bought it from 2005 silverado.

 

that sounds sick as hell, cwalker2006. thats what i was gonna do before put the turbo on my truck. if i ever go with a bigger motor, ill stick a 50-75 on it to get the turbo goin a lil quicker. not gonna lie, im jealous! keep it up man

ya, i feel ya, i had a nitrous 06 GTO. my buddy had a big turbo srt4 when i had my goat, he said it the best, "one of the best things about turbo's, they never have to be refilled like bottles". but i want the best of both worlds... muahahah
