I stand corrected. I only assumed that the would make it rwd with the 5.3. Talk about torque steer.

yeah it's a very retarded way of powering a vehicle. Might as well have an open differential too.

Yes. If you look on the Impala page of Chevrolet.com, there is a photo gallery tab. One photo is a transparent hood shot and you can see the header in front of the engine.

He was a 4 door heavy duty. I think I would have won. But it was not on purpose. The look on his face. and he was within 2 inches of a concrete wall.
and I raced a 2 door Dodge with a Hemi. We were even to about 65 then I started pulling him a little bit. Close race though.
