A Little Harley Kill
#1
Got into a little street squirmish with a S/C Harley truck this afternoon. The guy who owns it is a equipment vendor for the company I work for, and we had been going back and forth with each other for the past couple of months about the whole Chevy vs Ford thing.
Well today we were finally able to meet up for some fun. We decided to run down the highway and settle this. He was up ahead of me doing about 60 or so and as I was coming up on him and let off to get beside him, he stomps it. He immediately puts 2-3 car links on me. I'm thinking, damn this thing is fast. About 90 I start to reel him in slowly, but there isn't going to be enough time because of upcoming traffic, so he let's off and I fly him doing about 115.
We pull over at the store up ahead to talk about it and I'm like let's do this from a dig or a slow roll...at the same time. So we ease out on the highway and from a 9 - 91mph roll I hand him his azz. I jumped him by 2 links from the start and rolled it out to almost 3 where it stayed until we let off.
From a 60-70 start I couldn't believe he pulled me so hard in that heavy azz truck of his. Do these trucks pull that good up top? Down low it was lacking somewhat.

And you probably jumped him from the dig due to wheelspin. These S/C trucks are worthless on street tires anywhere below 35 mph. They'll just haze them. Even stock.
Nice kill.

good kill, I raced one last year on the freeway, all from 60mph rolls about 6x... he took 3x and I took him 3x... either I was at his back bumper or he was at my back bumper everytime...... that was when I only had exhuast and k&n drop in filter...no tune.... mine would shutdown at 97mph and he woul fly by me... stop and talked for a little and he said man I thought you really had something until your truck would shut off!!!.. real cool guy he said it was stock and had a pulley and some other stuff on order.... there is this one harley that goes to the streetracing that has been trying to race me but we havent yet... hope he'll be there tomorrow to settle this down...

j/kThey are pretty nice trucks, for a Ford anyway
. I imagine with a pulley and a tune he would be handing me my azz.

Yeah those S/C trucks you need to run from a dig or from a really slow roll.... otherwise it will let them spool up those blowers. But yeah they are very nice trucks and im actually scared of those.
