I'm not finding some of the videos right now.

One does have a dual overhead cam, his is also an aluminum block. But the dual overhead cam is simply a head and cam swap so I really don't see that as anything rediculous, it is still a 5.4L engine.

From what I can tell Dante isn't full weight I think it was closer to 3600lbs or so closer to Black sheeps weight.

Here is a vid of Dantes 9.54 pass:

They have more but I don't really feel like looking all around for them right now.

Here is another guy that isn't in the 9s yet but isn't far off and he is just doing typical weight reduction but isn't stripped or anything. He (Thunderstruck) is also just a 2V SOHC motor iron block:

Since the above thread he has:

Thunderstruck new best, same mods as before.

10.054@133.17. 60ft 1.458

Also just saw JohnnyLightning has a new best of 8.3 at 166.70 obviously not daily driven but the fastest gen 2 lightning out there.

wow... this one kinda blew up didnt it...

for all I know, the guy I outran was spinning his *** off on our slick interstates... and I wasnt. Its easier to hook up less power, we all know that...

I beat him in an extended cab full bolt-on/cam 5.3.... to his reg cab 5.4 with a blower... why cant we just leave it at that. I'm not saying if we took it to the track that it would be the same outcome. I would hope so but who knows... it happened on the street so there were too many variables to warrant a thread like this to get started. I was simply sharing a little victory of mine.

You can say you won but your trying to make it sound glamrous lol.
You truck weighs less then his regardless of xcab vs regcab and you know your truck is light so why try to play it like a hugh feat?(sp)
Also to say 5.4 with a blower....stock the trucks run mid 13's to low 14's.
So looking at your current times you have posted of a 13.6 NA.
You basically raced a stock truck man.
Did you win. Sure and i won't take that from you.
It's just your trying to gloat like you beat something crazy fast and you didn't.

By the way i'm trying to give you a hard time haha.
The rest of the thread was just some good chevy vs ford talk lol.

I know you're just giving me **** LOL...

He had a couple bolt ons, probably pullied down a bit so he was probably running damn near identical times as I to. I'm still gloating... LOL... I walked him

You can also buy a el cheapo F150 and put a DOHC5.4 with a turbo in it to and not spend as much as buying a Lightning when they were new smart *** LOL
And both of them had 4lbs pulleys.
In kingots defence, he did beat 2 of Lightnings *** in a row. one was a turd for the mods that were on it with DR's and the other one that he said ran 11.90... Actually it had ran an 11.78 at 116 or 117 is the one in my sig, but is not anywhere as fast now as when I had it, and the guy driving didnt know anything but hold it on the floor and spin till it quits. But the drags shocks were worn out when I got rid of it and it had regular nitto555's not drag radials. The turd was the one with the 555R's
