Default Late model T/A

Was out test driving the truck yesterday after some suspension work. Trying to get rid of a vibration...

Just cruising and passed a late model red T/A. The next light caught us and he wound up behind me. Figured I'd try a small launch. Put it an 4wd and took off about 3/4 throttle and ran it up to 55, let off, and set the cruise. This obviously caught the attention of the T/A. He caught up and paced me. Gave a couple revs so I hit the horn and we were off on the 3rd honk. It must have been bone stock, the results weren't pretty. I jumped him hard from the kick and pulled him bad to about 110. We'll say bus lengths. I grabbed brakes to get slowed back down, he just fell in way behind me and we cruised the speed limit into town. He pulled off at another light further down the road, dropped the window and gave a big thumbs up and another rev.

Yeah he was pretty cool about it. To be honest I expected a little better run considering a 55 ish kick.

I've improved the vibration, made it worse, moved it from one place to another mph wise but I just can't get rid of it everywhere! Its a plague.

What about the driveshaft? You went to the 4.10's and are really spinning it now, have you had it balanced?

Going to get to that once I find a shop to do it. Only place I've found that can even balance it within 100 miles can only spin it to 3500rpm. Yes I'm spinning it a little more but still seeing the vibrations in rpm ranges its been before.
