Yep, nice kill on the SS. The rcsb 5.3's can hold there own. Add a tune on it, and you will beat him. Having an SS, I know that they are not very fast stock, but when I added my tune, it really woke the beast up! Now with my tune, pacesetter LT's, shift kit, comp cam, Coras sport, volant CAI, 125 shot of NOS and stall, this thing is a hand full. When I had my tune only, I just barely pulled on a GT. If you get a custom tune, you could give them a run for their money.

Nice Kill..I agree stock SS's arent real quick but they way over 5000#'s so IMO they run good for being a tank..Mine is heavily modded so its a handful as well...The 5.3L can be a nice power maker

good kill

i had a just about the same outcome on a race i had with an SS silvy but i was never behind we were even until the 1-2 shift and then i pulled about 1/2 a truck on him but at the next light i got to tell him it was just a little 4.8 he did the WTF face and then gave me a thumbs up
