Well all that was killed was my tires and came very close to killing my underware.....
I was on a crappy country road with nothing but Sugar Cane fields on each side. I come to a stop sign and I'm taking a right. I see a car way off in the distance and it appeared I had plenty of time to pull out. I proceed to make my right turn and as I get straight I glance at the rear view and see the car coming very fast so I go WOT. I hear my motor rev, shift into the next gear, i'm approaching 6000rpms and the speedometer is moving fast like i'm in a 1000hp beast but I'm barely moving. The car which was an older mustang passes me up and then I hear slight churp of my tires and I'm finally starting to get somewhere (kinda late by that time). I look in the rearview again and see this huge cloud of smoke. I turned around and went back by the intersection and there was something on the road starting from the stop sign and then going right. It didn't look wet the road was just a darker color. The only thing I can think of was something leaked oil. This could have gotten real ugly......
