Default kill or not?

ok im on 35 and a lightning passes me so i catch up to him and we slow down to abt 70 and take off, he gets abt 2 trucks on me and we stay like that till abt 110. i get we slow down again but this time to 60 and we took off and barely pulled but he got to my back bumper and stayed there till abt 90 where i shut off. it looked like it was around an 03 or whenever the first year they came out. since my last run with a lightning i have put on 3:73's, shift kit, intake manifold, velocity stack, and a bbk throttle body. havent had a dyno run since but hoping for atleast 20 extra horses, and a few more ft lbs

I think ya'll should of raced one more time for bragging rights!! Good race though!

The first year of the supercharged Lightning was in 99'! It's easy to tell them apart.

Moded lightnings can be trouble tough.

Anything with a power adder from the factory can easily be trouble. There's no limit for them.

What are you talking about? You can easily find them for under 20. Even new they were only 33. How many guys on here paid that for a slower fullsize Chebby? Or a "Rumble Bee"? They're a great value as far as bang for buck, especially if you buy used.

Personally, I like the sleeper approach that leaves an unsuspecting victim
