Ok, so I beat a 16 sec. car (probably) but he started it

Got next to me at a redlight and took off quick on green so I caught up and passed him since it caught me off guard. We both caught the next light so I stalled to about 1000 rpm or so and launched sideways on green. After I hooked I ran it to about 70 then shut it down because I was buslengths ahead. I'll give it to them though; that little car launched good and pulled two lengths (his lengths, not mine) on me from a dig.

All of this was on a worn out u-joints and a slipping transmission too along with a screwed up MAF table

Thanks. I got a built 4L65e sitting in the garage along with a Yank SS3600 converter and new u-joints. Just gotta get the time to put it all together. Just got the True Trac installed last Friday and it has been awesome so far.

BTW, just saw the car in the parking lot after class; apparently its a GXP?

Sweet kill and clean truck, some of those come turbo stock i think, na or turbo they are still sloww lol

 

Yeah; I looked them up. Doesn't really seem right unless he couldn't drive; once I hooked I caught him and passed him.
