Once I got a little more agressive, like checking out other cars when I'd pass, coming up fast and the matching their speed when I got next to them, etc etc I seem to get more. If you're at a light next to someone, creep forward a little and seem antsy to get going...I know if someone does that next to me I'll usually take off and assume they will race. Feels kinda stupid if they don't take off, but oh well the ones that do are worth it.
Do a lot of this stuff also. Seems everybody is in a hurry these days so the antsy at the light can mean that I'm just like the thousand other people and in a hurry to get going. Even the overtake and slow down, gawk at the car stuff isn't working.

**** on a hemi sticker can go a long way or a I eat rice sticker.

Just go cruising, there are some older guys starting to cruise here and I even raced a new mercedes the other day with a older guy in it while cruising the other day (he started it). Then a titan with a older guy in it, just out of the blue pulled up and started smoking the tires?

Don't feel bad it took me 3 months to line up with an rc hemi that would run and I had a hard time with that things not fast

So whatever happened to the good old fashioned revving your engine at the light? I guess it's a pretty bold move and if they don't want to race you end up looking like a dipshit. It would definitely get the point across though

I rarely have to resort to it because people are always trying to start stuff with me. The Dynomax mufflers sound pretty mean once I get 1st wound up a little and I've often been surprised by some random person who takes off all of the sudden because they think I'm racing.

Not that it can't be done but revving is much easier in a 5 speed. I can see me dropping it to neutral, rev it, put the brakes to it hard, let it idle back down, brake stall it a bit and look up and the guy is already through the intersection
