Default Hey I wanna play!

Okay I admit it. I'm kinda old. Drive a stock looking 4X4 truck. Not your typical street racer.... Therein lies the problem. I don't get many chances to KILL. Most don't even give me a second look.

Just how does an old man in a fast truck politely go about letting people know he is interested in blowing their doors off?

I've found that if you just seem like you're checking out someone's car when you go by they are more likely to take interest in yours...I always wondered how everyone got races and I never did, but I would always pretend like I didn't see the other car (I'm not confrontational at all). Once I got a little more agressive, like checking out other cars when I'd pass, coming up fast and the matching their speed when I got next to them, etc etc I seem to get more. If you're at a light next to someone, creep forward a little and seem antsy to get going...I know if someone does that next to me I'll usually take off and assume they will race. Feels kinda stupid if they don't take off, but oh well the ones that do are worth it.

i cant seem to get any races unless its a fart can civic....they seem to be the only ones willing to race. ive tried revving, getting antsy at red lights, talking and even dropping down into 2nd at 60mph and just jacking with people hard core with my hazards on and they just look at me like WTF do you want? i always wandered how you guys can just pick a race with grandmas on an everyday basis

i was thinking about getting some kinda performance sticker cuz i know every time i see someone with a back window full of performance stickers or a truck with race stripes i always wana try it(they wont race either ).

I hate stickers. I even make dealers remove their stickers before I will pull them fromt he lot.

Have thought about a subtle front liscense plate like "Blown Chevy" or "Blown Bowtie".

Exactly the same kind of stuff I'm finding. I am from a small town and do most of my cruising there. Word is out that I am fast which could be part of it. Still problems when I go elsewhere though. Sure was a lot easier finding action in the younger days cruising in the Orange GTO.
