Default Hemi vs Chevy

Little brothers 05 4 door hemi.Bone stockw/ 5611 miles. My chevy mods in sig. No giggle gas, stock tune {predator taken off for towing} We are both running 10 flat in the 1/8th. I am the biggest chevy fan but dang. totally stock rollin 20s and keepin up with my modded chevy. The only thing I can say in my defense is I can smoke em down and he can barely chirp em. I was the driver of both trucks. my chevy and me were

WOW i can pull on my sisters boyfriends 04 QC 2wd hemi 3.92's on 20's(only mod, k&N filter)pretty good! and i only have a hypercrapper and a k&N intake.. as a matter of fact i pulled him from 65-105 last night in the interstate.. haha and i get 7mpg better than he does.. i got 135k miles he has 38k miles... i just cant wait till i get my muffler and wait4me tune.

the only things i see in your sig that will really benefit you on the street is the intake, magnaflow stall and nitrous. im guessing it runs low 15's on motor? the dodges are strong out of the box but the chevy has more potential. that is, until dodge figures out the programming go get you a custom tune and ask for a rematch

I know a guy with a qc hemi in VA and all he has is full exhaust, handheld tuner, e fans and an intake. He walks on stock chevy's all day long. My truck has a hard time runnig with it.

I've had both, a 2WD 00 EC Silverado with a 5.3L that I traded in for my 2WD 04 QC Ram with the 5.7L (Hemi). My first time to the track with the Silverado I had a Hypertech tuner, intake and exhaust, I ran 15.21... I took my Ram to the track in November and with just a Superchips tuner, it ran a 14.98. I just put on a Dynomax muffler and a Volant intake, I'll got back to the track when it opens in February to see if they help any. The Silverado had the factory 255/70R16's with 3.73 gears and the Ram has the factory 265/70R17's with 3.92 gears.

5.7 hemi is a better competitor than any non supercharger Ford engine.
