I ran last Fri the 17th and I was about 0.3-0.4secs and 2mph slower than usual on motor
yeah thats the wierd thing. i was looking at my time slips from my 14.88 and my 15.02 from sunday and the mph at the 1/8 were the same and my mph at the 1/4 was actually higher on sunday even though the time was a bit slower(.14)

the only mods i did between the runs was going from a hypertech 87 tune to a nelson 93 tune and a new screened MAF. the temps with the 14.88 was at 75 and the temps on sunday were around 90 so thats why im slower but the MPH's baffel me

hopefully i'm .3 or .4 off that would put me at a 14.72-14.62 in cool weather!!! pretty doubtfull with my mod list but its nice to dream

i know a guy that just had a predator, K&N cai, and flowmaster exhaust and he ran 14.7s on his factory 16s. he was also running in cold weather. the point that i am trying to make it that i see that it is possible for you to run a 14.6-14.7.

i hope so. i need to work on my launches to get there though. im thinking next time im at the track(winter) ill let one of the seasoned drivers take my truck down the strip and see what they can squeeze out of it. ive heard of 2/10ths differences between drivers before. ive only got about 20 passes under my belt so im sure someone can do alot better.

Good Kill. I took out a couple GT's my last trip to the track. The last had his GF riding with him. Was a test and tune night. Kinda funny, early in the evening all kinds of cars mostly ricers were just jumping up in the lane beside me. I made several single passes later in the night even though the lanes were full.
