Default Got killed... kinda

Me (06 TBSS) and a 06/07 Dodge Charger SRT8

I lost, but it could have been closer. All I can say is they are fast and kill off the line. That's where the race was lost for me. We actually launched pretty close together, they just jump out quicker. He got a a car length on me by about 100', and never pulled anymore. I only stayed in it for about an 1/8 mile since I was turning in my hood, but he had me beat hands down. Good thing is he couldn't pull after the launch.

Edit, cna't spell while drinking.

I'm surprised it was that close with an SRT-8. What have you done to your truck?

Looks like you're stock?

A simple tune and you would walk all over him.

Nice race, he knows he couldn't pull away!

Well atleast it was close. I heard they run mid 13s stock... how true is that? That's about what a TBSS can do too right, or are they high 13s

13.2s is what a SRT-8 was running at HRP and it was all stock. I forget the mph. 106 I think. This was about 3 weeks ago in the heat and humidity.

14.3 is the best I've seen a stock TBSS go at HRP, but it's been plenty hot and humid. And that one was done with a lady passenger so I'd figure low 14s the way the conditions have been around here. Should be high 13s in the winter.

My GirlFriends mom has a new Magnum SRT-8 and let me tell you it is a pretty bad ride. I drive it all the time it is one badass wagon, one of my buddies has a TBSS with a Dixie Tune and we have been meaning to run bump them off while riding around one night.

I know my G/F's dad ran there's up to 165 mph, and I had it up to 135 and it feels just as stable as a Vette does at those Speeds. Tune/Exaust really will wake them up....

I looked at a magnum srt8 recently. And of course, looked at available modifications for it. It is rediculous what companies are asking for CAI and catbacks for these things. If memory serves me correct, 700+ beans for a catback.
