Default Fun in the rain, fun with an Evo....

Went out Thursday night with a friend, it was raining. Found out that when the streets are wet the back end will come loose at 75mph on a WOT 3-2 drop

Also found out that with wet streets I can't hook even with 4wd

Raced a kid in a mostly stock Evo, I think he had a tune and my buddy said that he could spike 23 or 26 psi with the turbo, can't remember how much he could hold consistently, but I was all over him from a 75 roll and a 40 roll, tried to race from a dig but like I said, couldn't hook in 4hi. Stalled it up to about 3000 at the light, popped my foot off the brake, and just sat still for a second and kinda slid sideways a little, then the truck started hopping from side to side. Gotta love torque steer. Fun night

I was going to start a new post when I saw yours.

I was taking a friend for a ride yesterday on a fog damp (not rain) hi-way at 65mph gave it a goose and got sideways on it! Scared the bejesus out of me!
I'm thinking i'll have to be using the 4wd when rainy season hits!

I was out tuning once on damp roads and rolled into it easy at about 60. It broke the rear end loose. Scared the crap out of me.

I love launcing 4wd in the rain. Roll out a bit and floor it. If it doesn't start hopping the 4wheel drifts are awesome.

I always thought about working a street race with a high power rear wheel drive car. Get them to let you call the time and place. Come back with the next time its raining.

I almost slid into the wall of a bank while it was raining just messing around.
