First kill with Lq9
Truck is still Ideling a little low so as Im catching a light and slowing down I gotta keep lunging the truck forward so it doesnt stall with the new cam until it comes to a stop and steadys out. Well I guess this blue ford ranger in the right lane took it as I wanted to race because when the light turned green he tore off and he got a length before I even put it to the floor. As Im approaching my 1-2 shift Im caught up and next to him and my tires break loose right next to him during the shift, hooks and pulls 2 on him instantly. When I got about 5 ahead a few seconds later I let out and he never came up next to me and a short time later he turned off. Oh well guess he didnt wanna play anymore

One never knows if the stupid Ranger, stupid Ram, stupid Chevy or stupid Ford has what it takes to win a race, or not. Afterall, that's the point here. We have trucks. People don't expect a truck to stay ahead of a car, etc.

As for what I have in the Ranger ...
302
Edelbrock (O-ringed and ported) heads & (EFI) intake (lower extrude honed)
75mm MAF/70mm throttle body/24lb injectors
TFS (#2) cam 1.6/1.72 rockers
N.O.S. nitrous oxide (plate) system
Hooker headers/2.5" dual exhaust
MSD ignition system (6al, coil, multi-step, RPM activated window switch)
Tremec 3550
Chassis Engineering ladder bar/coil over suspension
Motorsport 8.8" 3.73s/Detroit Locker/Moser 31 spline axles/TFS diff cover
I'm sure I forgot something (never fails), but that's most of it.
It's just a bunch of old school stuff, much of which was just lying around.
I have a new plan. But, for now, since I'm broke, this will have to do.

I can't believe My old page still exists, but the it was.
I haven't seen this page for years. I had no idea it was still there!
It's not completely accurate, as I have made some changes but it shows the basic truck.
Anyway, if the link works, you can see my beater and a list of mods that was accurate then.
Did I mention, I can't believe it's still there?
