Been waiting a long time for this, and caught up to one at a light finally. I wasn't sure if he was going to race me, but i barely took off and he stayed even with me. Then he just layed on it and I did right after him through the intersection. I caught up to him right when I caught traction and started pulling hard on him. I got two trucks ahead of him, and by the time i hit 100 I had to turn around just to see where he was at, then let off. I was excited but just couldn't believe wtf happened to him. He pulled off into another street and I just turned around and went home. I was atleast 6 trucks ahead of him. It had exhaust and whined like a ****. It was great, but really disappointing at the same time. A few friends knew the guy in the truck and say he's a 12 second truck. ( we usually meet up at in n out on saturdays, and they know who he is). I just can't believe I'd rip him a new **** that bad. It was awesome either way!

 

I've seen a lot of "12 second lightnings" that run high 13s lol. They're really not all that fast with the stock blower because they like to get really heat soaked. But I don't know anything about the truck, so it could be modded quite a bit. Good kill!

 

nice kill, any type of FI on a gmc/chevy truck and theyre done. i used to raced them alot when i was N/A, i could beat most but i had trouble on the top end with the modded lightnings, but know its different story

Lightnings are slow as hell just like mustangs! Good kill. Gotta love beating up on fords!!!! Especialy ones that think they are fast.
