Cool Finally got a titan...

I was sittin at the light on my way home with nobody behind me, light turns green and i take off. Then i hear huge rukus and a titan flies by me then slams on his brakes. Turns out it was a buddy of mine who had just gotten new exhaust and wanted to screw with me. We take off from a 30 roll and from my suprise i start walking out ahead of the 5.6. I stayed in it until around 70ish then let off because he wasnt catching me. Afterwards we pull in at the carwash, buddy rolls down his window and says "Damn! Shoulda bought a chevy!"
Ive been wanting to run a titan but wasnt quite sure how id stack up against it. Then i tried a new tundra with the 5.7 ! Totally different story, it was door to door until i hit 3rd then he pulled ahead about 4 trucks and i wasnt gaining until he started governing. I knew the yota would win but i dont care its all fun.

If all your mods are what you have in your sig, then your 4.8's doing pretty good.

ALways nice the beat the foreign guys.

yeah i was at the track and there was a rcsb that ran a 13.9 and then 14.00 the rest of the night. Its wierd when they launch because its calm and easy until about 60 ft then they hook it. He was kickin a$$ all night until a 4x4 rclb lbz duramax got him with a 13.7.

Yeah i think its doing alright. Itll be doing even better with a 6.0 just waiting to find a reasonably priced one.

The fastest i ran was in 2wd. I put it in 4 and spun them (hard to believe with a 4.8) The last time out i had installed headers and launched in 2wd and spun them horribly everytime.
I wanted to do a 4wd launch but a hub is preventing me from doing so. I dont kno if itll hold up and i dont want to get stuck at the track.
