fun none the less. Paced me when the light greened, I let him step fully into it and then wasted him. I let out at 60mph and was a good 100 yards ahead when he caught me at the next light he asked if I was 'chipped'


On a side note, screwing around with a beat old Celica I hit the rev limiter or I don't know what...seemed like I was bouncing but I wasn't able to repeat it.

Diesel owners suck!!

 

HAHA, YA! Just ask the 20 or so at the diesel track day I went to a couple weeks ago. I was only a half second faster then the FASTEST one!!

i dont think so, it didnt sound like the rpms came up to high... I might have the ETC limiter set too low, need to check.

 

I had a newer accord with a horrifficly loud fart cannon fly past me so i wanted to see how fast he was goin.. got up to 90 when i got beside him and he mashed on it..

after i got thru laughin i eased on the gas and went passed him at about 110.. i slowed back down to 70 and put the cruise on. he revved at me when he went by so i let him do his lil ricer fly by. i went ahead and hit the boost controller and got beside him, i waved and hammered on it. 140 or so i decided to let out.. i see blue lights wayy back there so i hit the next exit and went home the back roads

Im back to doin the speed limit and not playin on the interstate anymore.

 

yeah thats wat i was thinking, thats wat mime felt lik it was doing the last time i popped it. felt lik it hit the rev limiter then i didnt really step on it for a while then it did it again at maybe 60% throttle then about a week latr i popped it...

well you guys had me worried so i made a couple back to back WOT runs, one from a dig in 4wd the other I feathered into it. Scans show no slipping....well other than the rear tires.
