So I'm heading back to TN from my Nephews Graduation in Richmond, I'm On 81 south between Roanoke and Bristol. Traffic is going 65-70ish. Then I notice in my mirror a black turbo carrera convertible workin his way through traffic. About the time he gets to me theres nowhere else to go. he's cruisin right along side me for a while, probably enjoying his sunday drive, un aware that Maggie is right next to him. so I give the gas pedal a quick blip that makes it downshift to third and make a small blower sound. now were goin up the mountain and the truck lanes begin, so the big trucks get over, frees up one lane all the way up the mountain.I Get behind him, I see him down shift and Nail it, So do I, since were already goin 70, mine downshifts to 2nd, right at the sweet spot cause now I have 30 miles per hour left of 2nd. I see him keep lookin in the mirror to see how bad he's beating me, 90, 95, 100,105,110,115,120 (speedos now useless) He's lookin, I'm still 5 feet behind. First chance he has to get out of that lane he does. But I stay on the gas, so when I get to his door he looks over Like he heard this loud shreiking/screaming sound. the look of shock on his face kinda like in the movie jaws, when the head fell out the hole in the bottom of the boat. For the next 100+ miles me and this guy took every oppertunity to out gun each other, I used 3/4 tank of gas in a little over an hour. Did I beat him, No. Did he beat me, No. but it made a long trip pretty fun.... Oh yeah, when he got to his exit, he didn't even wave.... Hah

 

That sounds like a pretty fun trip!! I love pacing with someone for long distances!! Nice runs!! Shoulda taken a picture or video with your phone!
