Default couple of kills

im east dallas and i see this 41 ford (truck) that looked really nice. it was yellow with red flames sounds ugly but didnt look half bad. well i lokk over at hiim and rev it up and he said to go from a roll so i said ok at 20. we roll to 20 and this guy looks at me and just takes off, no warning at all. so i said fine i slowly psuh into it then just just slammed it down and pulled him before i even hit 2nd gear. i stopped him and he said the motor was a built 350 runnin abt 475hp. then he asked me and well i told him wat yall see in my sig.

second race south dallas. a charcoal grey 04 L is ridin my *** the whole way down 35 so i give it some gas to see if he'll go. he pulls up next to me and revs a little so at 55 i drop it into 2nd, when it gurgles or however you spell that he looks at me with a strange face. i honk it 3 times and pulled, i had him by abt 2 1/2 trucks if u include mine. then at 115 he slowly reels me in and passes me then i just gave up. i guess he has better aerodynamics than i do.

but they were good races.

yea i could hold the 99-01's off with my 355 but the 02 or 03's to 04's were hard to beat and i didnt feel like putin a bunch of money into gears and nitrous to beat one so i thought it was a better deal to go with a stroker

That doesn't make sense just because the 01-04 are the same setup. Now the 99-00 I can understand w/ a setup like that if they're stock.

thanks bbb. now wat doesnt make sense 99 lightning? if you look at my other post o beat a 99-00 lightning from 60 but only by a length if not less. then i raced an 04 with tune, exhaust, pulleys, and an intake and he pulled me out by 2 trucks from 20. i raced another newer L with my new motor from 55 and i stay in front by a truck or so and he pulls me by the same passin 100. how doesnt it make sense? he could've had very little mods. i just dont kno wut ur sayin, when u say "it doesnt make sense"

Unless I misread it.I took it as you In other words saying the 99-01 Ls were the same. All I meant by it not making sense is just that the 01+ Ls had more power.

That's kinda hard to tell since I have no clue how much you weigh. If I had to go by a L w/ that hp/tq I'd say w/ a good launch maybe mid 13s.Now if you are holding off Ls modded somewhere around like mine I'd say you're in the low-mid 13s w/ a good launch. Those are just 1/4 guesses since I've never been to a 1/8 mile track.
