Default Call me Sniper...

brother has a 98 Dakota R/T, no mods to speak of. been talking the poo for almost 4 months now, and i had enough. started calling around and ended up with my sig. so, i am in iraq... 9000 MILES AWAY. call him and say hey, be home in 7 days... all of a sudden he backs out. all i did was mention Nelson, Thunder racing, TCI, and a few others and he locked up. this count as a kill???

see this is the sad part... all i HAVE DONE is the 3.73s and posi. everything else is still in the damn box, in my closet. i started buying parts back in august, and get them shipped to the house. trans is being built as we speak, and i have been talking to nelson to set appointment for install on cam and tune. stuck in iraq since feb 2, so i have no dyno numbers or track times. but i will in about 12 days, i will let yall know how it goes.

For starters, thanks for serving our country. You may not hear it enough but we all appreciate it. Secondly, your truck is going to feel like a whole new animal putting all the mods on at once. Have fun.

Default New Animal

this is what nelson has told me. Paul with thunder racing was a great help with cam selection and scrounging up parts. lots of people pitched in and helped out, i was really impressed by the help off of this site and LS1tech. you guys are great. i am really excited to see how this turns out, but i hope the tracks arent closed by then. i am also hoping to see some nice dyno numbers... DaPurpleRT might come looking for me.
