These arent kills in the pickup but ones LS based and the other is kinda an SUV. So my buddy had his 05' GTO out about a month ago and were headed for a hour drive one night to check out some dealer ships. I see this new BMW M6 coming up in the slow lane. So of course my buddy has to drop it to 2nd to wake him up a bit(just has CAI, and magnaflow w/x-pipe). The guy in the M6 drops it to and we are off. get up to around 110 and slow down. He gave us the thumbs up and we take off again, this time really moving and i was supprised he wasnt really pulling on us really. we hit about 130-135 and let off for traffic. he pulled up beside giving us the bull horns and i sent them back at him. Its cool seeing a guy in a 100,000 dollar car being all cool like that. I think those things have like 480hp im shure he would have gotten us with enough room. Funny thing was later that night we had a SRT4 neon stay at my psngr door from stop light to 80mph, kinda unnerving aint it.
The other story happened a while back demoting some rice, when i had to borrow my g-parents 2003 volvo cross country. me and some friends were getting something to drink at the supermarket and this guy in a mid 90's honda civic hatch with a fart can drove buy staring at us. I joked saying it be funny if i kicked his *** and my buddy ran over and asked if he wanted to race the wagon. well little did he know the wagon actually went pretty damn good for what it was but it is still a volvo 4 door wagon. he agreed and we went down to a local straight road with nothing on it(my grandfather used to race at this same place back in the 60's-70's kinda cool). so we set up and i let him jump, my turbo kicked in and see ya, got him by like 10 lengths at least. he had the lame oh i didnt launch right excuse. i told him to have a good night and maybe next time as i laughed. I even took out a crappy mid 80's 5 point slow on the high way with that volvo and the 5.0 was purple. wonder what thing would have run.
