Default Got my *** handed to me by an import

Yep, learned humility tonight. Went out to our local street race spot and saw an older mustang and a 94 Honda Prelude lined up. They raced and the mustang won, so I figured I'd try the Prelude. Stupid me didn't ask any questions, just asked to race. We lined up and the arms fell. I boiled the tires out of the hole and stayed beside the honda. Then out of nowhere, the honda put a car on me. I was like wtf. Then he shifted, and put some more on me. He ended up about 4 cars ahead of me. We then came back from a 20 roll. I pulled him a little, but he soon caught me and passed me. We got back and I was too sad for words. I then got out and looked at the car. The only thing in it was the drivers seat. He lets me know that he has a full jspec engine, dc sports headers, skunk cam, stage 2 clutch, cold air intake, and an aluminumarrowspace alloy flywheel. The had the regular rims without the hubs, so I "assumed" he wasn't going to be anything. He didn't know what it ran at the track, but he's putting down some damn good numbers. I guess I need to get off my *** and get my 3000, shift kit put in. And then I think I'll go ahead and get some more performance mods to see what I can do. Sorry to give gm guys a bad name tonight. I have never been beside an import that ran like that. Glad I didn't get too cocky and put some money down. Then I'd be defeated and broke.

As long as you were cool about it, and you don't pull any Dodge owner sour grapes stuff.

I've got a buddy with a '94 Prelude that can hand me my *** every time from a roll, 0-60 we are pretty close but from a 30mph roll he will wax the floor with me (it has something to do wth 195hp, a 2400lb curb weight, and an 8000rpm redline)
