gotta guy at work who has a 04 civic hatch back it's all raced out bigg *** shifter gauge on the dash and all... so this guys want to race me in my truck.. who do you think will when ?? he said he went to the track last night he's runnin 9.3's last time I went to the track I ran 10.5's thats with just a tune and 24" rims now I have pretty much every mod I know I'l kill his ***....

 

depending on wat enigne he has, he would have to build that thing pretty good to beat you.

 

I think he's only running 9.3 because your running 10.5. I bet if you told him you ran 12.9 he'd say he ran a 11.2.

I haven't told him what I ran yet so he dont know... he just knows I have a pretty fast truck he haven't even seen my truck yet it's in the paint shop so when it gets out it's on like donkey kong!!! Imma try and get his pay check out of him!!!

He'll most likely do a 6g launch so if you can get the jump on him it should be over from the start. Bring a camera.

 

the only hatchback civic in 04 was the si. got a k20a3 and around 200 hp stock. worth about a high 15 to low 16 1/4 stock. unless hes turbo or supercharged, you should have no problem.

 

i thought the SI's got the B16a2? i know the coupes did

anyways unless he has about 8psi+ or a fully built 11krpm NA motor, you will win.

the b series died in 00. the only civics to come with it were 99-00 civic si coupes. after that no si until 02 till 05 which is a hatch, and has the k20a3(pos).
