Default 4.8 vs Harley Dividson F150

So today after just gettin my new exhaust put on (TD 2 Dynomax Bullets after the headers exiting before the rear tire) I was driving around seeing how I like my new exhaust when I see a HD F150 and thought nothing of it since none of them really race and theres a buncha old farts where Im stationed at right now, then he comes flying by me with his loud *** supercharger whine picking on the little 4.8 so we play back and forth for about a mile until all traffic clears ahead of us so we slow down to a 25, I honk it off and we have a completely even start: first gear I put about 3/4 a length to 1 full length on him and continue to pull till about 60 or 65 and the pull stops but he wasnt able to gain any distance by the time we stopped at about 90 with me about 1.5 lengths ahead. I dont know how these particular F150s are against us but his supercharger was loud as hell and he had some sort of exhaust. I tried to get a 50 or 60 run in to see if hed pull me there but he had to turn off so i gave him the wave and that was the end of it. Didnt get a chance to talk or even see the guy since he had some dark tint on his windows. But awesome race for me since I havnt gotten an actual race in a long time

FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT LIKE TO READ:RCSB 4.8 puts 1.5 lengths on a Harley Davidson F150 with unknown mods from 25 roll

They are turds in stock form. My Cousin's husband had one with a tune and pulley and gears and it ran like a bat out of hell.

Good Kill

Rode in a stock crew cab a while ago and it felt really strong riding in the passenger seat. Very torquey for in town driving.

Thanks im curious to see what my truck would run at the track though. I dont want to until I get this one wheel peel outa the picture though lol I do have a run with a lightning too about a year and a half ago before I got half the stuff I do now. That one was weird as I was about 1.5 car behind when we were on brand new pavement and not so much spinning from him. That kill post is on LS1tech tho

You're probably like a 15.3-15.5ish I'd think. I'm running 15.7x all night long stock

Problem with the 4.8 is the low end sucks. Last few times at the track I've been running 15.8's at 91-92 mph.

I see... Iv pretty much comfirmed im not gonna do too much else to this thing till I get a 6.0 swap in. These 4.8s are just kinda short on this displacement factor... Hauls pretty good for being a small engine truck kept up with a couple 350z's lol... Love the look on thier face

I'm Hitting 15.2 with my mods in sig. Running the RST 20' wheels. IF it wasn't for the massive amounts of wheel hop I think I could see high 14s.

Good kill. I can never find trucks to race out here.
