I figured I'd toss this in.There were 2 high dollar cars and a RX8 about to run on the highway.The vehicles were a 00-01 Skyline GT,a NSX (not sure the year) and the heavely modded RX8.They went from a 25 punch and surprisingly the RX8 stayed w/ them for more than a couple seconds. The NSX ended up winning by about a fender w/ the Skyline.The Skyline is supposedly a 600rwhp drift car.I tried my luck keeping up and didn't do bad until about 80.That's when they really started pulling.I'm guessing they were running a bottle.

 

damn, that mustve been pretty cool to see. I have never seen a Skyline, but there is a guy in an NSX that beat my buddy in his 98 transam with a 125 shot.

The Skyline GTR is the fast rocket with all wheel drive and a bigger turbo. They are wicked fast in Japan, I almost brought one back last time I was there 2 years ago. They wanted $10,000.00 to get it to US specs if I shipped it back????

 

US specs, LOL...that means with our emissions laws you'd lose 100hp! especially in sunny CA!

 

I think they're a twin turbo.The guy that owns it said it cost him somewhere around $90K.He uses it as a drift car.That's his wifes car and now he's after the GTR.Yeah I never really knew what the big problem was to have one in the U.S.I figured it was because of crash safety and/or emissions.
