See'in Tail Lights

Driving down 45 today and an american ricer is whizzing through traffic with his 4 foot wing and coffee can exhaust, whizzes pass a mustang at about 80 or 85, mustang jumps up next to him and starts hopping, he backed down REAL quick and got in the right hand lane and through it into cruise control. So mustang speeds away. I'm cruising along at about 70 when a new scsb ford truck rolls up next to me with an exhaust and the "Triton 5.4" emblem on the side and starts reving. I motion with my hand and he hammers it, I gave him a WHOLE truck length before I hammered mine but when I did, I flew past him so fast he didn't even get a chance to see me waving!(that upset me) But needless to say he saw nothing but 2 things, CHEVROLET SILVERADO across the tailgate until I guess his shut down at 100mph. The little guy was trying though, I will give him that......I slowed down to give him a chance to catch up for another run, but everytime I would slow down or hit my breaks, so would he....so I never got another chance before I had to exit.....Those things must be DOG
! It was fun though! (plus when he was next to me. I think he had his girl with him)

good kill, dont know much about the triton, but at least it was cool he raced you. I been out of business for about a month, took the nitrous system off and am waiting for my swap in a little over a week. Hopefully after that and geter up and running good, Ill have a few stories of my own.

Yeah that sounds like a fair race. I will get my Vette out of the garage and you can try and race that. What I meant was the auto's in behind the 5.4, not the blown lightning engine btw, seem like they dont get as much power to the ground as the 4L60E does. More loss of power through drive train.
