Most guys are dynoing bone stock between 320-355rwhp w/the 01 -04's and the 99-00 L's are dynoing anywere from 310-340rwhp bone stock....w/about 1k in mods every L is running high 12's and is in the 400-500 club(400rwhp and 500lb ft) on an everyday conservative tune. Anything else
That's about dead on with the no's. I baselined 358/433 stock at 65,xxx miles. At our tune session we had for our club two weeks ago, most people with 4 lb pullies/cai/catbacks/sb throttle bodies/(there were more heavily modded trucks there, but the listed are amongst the most common mods it seems) were putting down 380-400/480-500 and that was in 90 degree Kansas heat.

There were a few more diff in the years btwn the 99-00/01-04. Bigger d/s and diff gears in the rearend (3.55 vs 3.73, respectively). Most other things were minor cosmetics. Ya gotta watch these L's, stock one's are getting harder to find. Granted, we lose a lot compared to you N/A guys in the heat, on a cool night some of these things can be scary (waiting for SVT_Scott to pipe up on this thread).

Alright another L guy on here...I must say I'm starting to hang out here not quite as much but just about as much as on the L boards...I've been researching a lot on the Lightnings and finally got one about 2months ago and I love it...the numbers that I told where just what I've heard from regularly(no personal dyno experience). I love running these things at night....there's a big difference. I haven't ever dynoed the difference, but I guestemated between 15-30rwhp loss from 100 degrees to 75 or 65...

well, to give an idea of how bad heat sink hurt us, I lost 8 hp and 17 ftlbs of tq in three pulls, and that was on a day when the ambient temp was like 55 deg. That was in THREE pulls, 1 min btwn each run. Think of what 85-95 degrees would do.

I'm not. I'm basically stock minus a CAI and Exhaust. That won't be the case for much longer tho.

What color is your truck? I'm in Ft. Smith too (Pocola actually but work in the fort) good to know there is actually another truck owner in this town that is "performance minded". Ever run at Sallisaw, Centerville or Tulsa? What times are you running?

My truck is black and dropped 4" in the back and 3" in front other than that and some subs ect. I'm completely stock, but I have a cai, pulley, and chip about to be on the way. I plan on heading down to centerville to run when I get the performance parts. I am trying to get a little meet up w/a bunch of guys sometime in the near future just to shoot the **** if you have any buddies around there that would be interested. As I'm sure you know a bunch of people "cruise" rogers on Fri. and Sat. nights I'm not into the cruising too much(maybe twice a month) and I've met a few guys that would like to go on a road trip or something to Hooters or somewhere to hang out. Let me know if your interested.

Sounds like a good time, let me know when/where. I'm with ya on "cruisin Rogers", too many stupid a$$ kids wanting to throw revs at the light and I have a real problem with declining a challenge but the cops are EVERYWHERE! As for running when you get your parts in, Centerville is a hoot and I love going there, but Tulsa has an awesome 1320' track and a lot of street cars on TNT nights, just something to think about.

Do you have a Superman decal on rear window?

hey guys, 203cree whats up man?

Another Lightning owner, well, not anymore, but was a lightning owner. You can see in the sig, mine put up pretty good numbers with just a chip+tune, CAI, exhaust and 4lb lower pulley... On nice crisp days i would see up to 14-15 lbs of boost, so it was pretty sweet.

I ran high 12's, but here where in live in KS there weren't very many performance trucks around. It kinda sucked. We have 2 cummins diesels, one with smoke staks.
