Ya, I'm almost posative the eatons loose around 20-30rwhp!! You can feel the difference between the day and at night... the kb's are usually done w/built block(or tougher internals)so they don't see near the drop that the eaton produces.

I'm glad to see the lightning owners starting to appear in here, because I've always wanted to know more about them. The heat was absolutely killing everyones times. I saw the kb Lightning running around a 12.3 and I was consistently getting better as the night went on, so I was really trying to line up with him for some close action. I'm now ready for it to cool off and get some "real" times.

i would say watch out.. I was in San Antonio for business yesterday, before coming back to houston for some other things... But anyways, Mike Murrilo was finishing up a Lightning. It made 800 rwhp with a kb and a little bit of spray HA!!

Like I said they can be made to be uncontrollable beastslol...there are some pretty good looking ladies around, but non that are willing to strip down(with the camera on)...I'll work on that this weekend. My buddy just got an slk 320 hardtop convertible....now that car will bring in the chicks. We just haven't really tried yet. I'll get some pics of the L and the Benz and post within a week or two.

Oh yeah and I bet the torque numbers for that kb was over 900ftlbs...that's f-ing nuts. That's what I love about the L's. I picked mine up in Chicago IL set the cruise at 80 and it never shifted down once the whole way home... and if you've ever been through fayettville AR you know what kinda hills and mountains you have to climb. Ford did a hell of a job on this truck and I realize it more so after I got it and drove it then when I just looked at the performance numbers and specs.

If your talking bout the Lightning....93-95 was the box style truck w/a 351 I beleive 240or260 hp they took a few years off and then svt came back in '99(newer body style) w/the 5.4l supercharged and intercooled 360(underated I'll add) hp and 430ft. bounds of torque...then in 2001 they made a few changes(went to a 90mm instead of an 80 and got all the kinks out of it(intercooler recall and plug threads along w/different heads)) and form '01-04 they have 380hp and 440lbft(also underrated) the only difference between the 99 and 00 compared to the 01-04's are the headlights and a few wheel changes in the 6 years. Most guys are dynoing bone stock between 320-355rwhp w/the 01 -04's and the 99-00 L's are dynoing anywere from 310-340rwhp bone stock....w/about 1k in mods every L is running high 12's and is in the 400-500 club(400rwhp and 500lb ft) on an everyday conservative tune. Anything else
