Who needs a hood latch. Run it like Hector with out a hood. Or just pin it.

Any concerns with the flow rate of that air filer?

 

Yeah it moves pretty slow at idle. That air filter is just for tooling around. I have a turbo guard for racing and will probably look into a higher flow filter solution eventually.

 

Welp, current issue preventing me from driving is a leaking power steering system. My stock power steering reservoir is on permanent backorder, so I had to try to modify a solution for an aftermarket tank to press-in to the pump but it leaks. Next best thing is the same exact pump, but something with threads and not a shitty o-ring insert. Anybody know of such a solution?

 

You dont need power steering, just get a bigger steering wheel, like one from an old bus with the **** handle and all

 

Pull the fitting and get a fitting with threads. Then do a remote tank set up.

I've literally been waiting for you to step in and solve this problem for me. You have that obscure knowledge about these things.

 

Isn't the fitting in the pump screwed in? This is how it appears in the picture above.

 

The pressure side is, yeah. But the feed side is my issue. It's a press in o-ring fitting. I need a pump with a threaded or barbed fitting, really.

 

Time to break a few eggs to make an omelet as they say.

Try pulling it out. Other wise, have a fitting made that will press in there.
