I'm sure that 16 degrees of advance has something to do with it!

Put some new wheels on the truck...nothing fancy, but newer and gives me more tire options

Also fighting some gnarly belt squeak! Replaced belts and tensioners...I think my crank pulley is encouraging some squeak lol. Anybody have a homemade fix for belt squeak?

Did you replace the whole tensioner or just the pulley?

Spray wd40 on each pulley until you find the culprit...or on the belt itself to test for that.

I replaced the whole tensioner. I think its the crank pulley. I sprayed water on it and it went away, but comes back when it evaporates. Both belts have some squeak but spraying the crank pulley while running makes it silent. I'll see how long wd40 lasts.

I like the new wheels. And I like the whole truck period. Escalade handles, painted front bumper cap, remove the red pinstripe and de-mould, and tinted windows would do wonders.
