He uses a water jet at a nearby shop. We only had to get the T3 flanges and the coil pack brackets cut.

Not much left on the thing now... Just need to make plug wires, run some vacuum lines, couple wiring odds and ends, and put the transmission back in and its finished. Still stock fuel system, but at least it'll be driveable.

Awesome thread. Those twins are so badass. What did u do with the wiring and steering shaft and brake lines? Do u have more pics of how it runs down the driver side. Honestly I'm not digging the dual tip tailpipe. It looks like the rear tip needs to be extended like an inch or two to square up with the front one. Tough look to pull off because that rear quarter panel isn't square, it starts moving in toward the bumper.

Wow that is great work on the down pipes. How the exhaust exits isn't my favorite but like you said, it might grow a little. When do you hope to fire it?

Not sure when, maybe this weekend. Long as something unexpected doesn't pop up.

Well, I called it....something unexpected sure as **** popped up. Been trying to get the converter seated for 2 hours now and its having none of it. Converter pads are 0.750" from the bell housing and it refuses to move any further. Taking the seal off the input shaft makes no difference either. When I push real hard it makes the converter difficult to pull back out, to the point where I can drag the transmission around by the converter. I can only get it out by ripping it out hard enough that it just about flies into me when it finally lets go.

So, I have no idea right now and my arms are exhausted from tossing around 50lbs for a couple hours...

So I have a stock 4L80e sitting here. Tried the converter out of that in my trans, went in fine. Just for ***** and giggles, tried the yank in that other trans....went in no problems. I don't get it..
