Default What too do!!!?

Well i was at work today and i looked up what my truck had threw my vin number and found out my truck is a 4.8 not a 5.3 i was jacked. But it is my stupidity for not double checkin everything before i bought it.

So my question is do u guys think i should put some money in to it or is it just goin to amount to nuthin and be a wast of my time and money?

Thanks Zeke

?? is what do you want to do with it, how much money you want to dump into it?? After you have them taking car of then you can start making decisions about what to do..

start with a 6.0 swap, u can find good motors fairly cheap.
if you dont want to do a swap start with a tune, headers, intake, and other bolt ons unless u got a big budget then u might look into forced induction

....if it makes you feel better, any mod you do to your 4.8 will be transferable to a 5.3/6.0

Just for *****. When my truck had the 4.8 I had a junk hpp3(handheld tuner) full exhaust, long tube headers, along with a intake.. I could stay with and beat hemi trucks.. Never took it to the track but beat trucks that were def in the high 14's all the time.. Freak of a truck, maybe... Its all what you you want to do and spend.. Like said all the stuff you do on the 4.8 can be swapped to a 6.0..

Thanks guys i deff wana put some money into it.
i didnt kno that the parts were transferable to the 5.3 and 6.0 that helps alot mabe a 6.0 swap in the near future im stuck with it for 6 years lol soo ill start with some boltons. i check out these already hear the list im goint to go with.

Gibson super truck exhaust, dynatech headers and y pype, volant intake, and true tac posi. Then a tune of some sort if i need one. i was also thinkin of a bigger mas air flow sensor but dunno much about it and its 330 dollars.
