This will be something that I need to learn as well, but for the most part Chevy's are pretty manipulative, so I'm hoping yes is the answer. There's got to be a thread somewhere here about 4.8/5.3 head swap.

Another question raise what else whould i have to change to make them heads work?
I dont kno enough bout these motors to go taring into mine and possible ruin a motor that only has 23000 miles on it.

Chg the make? These are stock heads. This is what I have.

And the only reason why I changed heads from these stock to 60cc is I was having the ultimate lifter tap and I was coerced into changing the heads.

What year is your truck?? You have one of these heads on your truck if it is a 06 or earlier, some 07's 706 852 862. If it is newer then that you will have the 243 heads on it which are better then the previous years( better flowing).. So not to try and shoot ladybuglover down, but the only beni you would have is getting a better set of springs, unless the heads she has for sale are ported, polished, ect... Springs can be changed with the heads on and is pretty easy.. If you are not sure you want to go into the whole swap thing.. Get a tune from JUSTIN, get some long tube headers, a cold air intake.. It will be a big difference in the way your truck runs.. Again it all can be swapped over to a bigger engine if you ever decide to go that way...
