if I can fight the urge to go to the track and watch the nostalgia rail race, I might pull my cold side piping and start prepping it for paint too today... SO many things to do... SO little time. supposed to be going to pick up a trans in Houston today too... but we will see if that materializes or not.

Well I fought with going to the track today or not.... and the track won so nothing got done.... tomorrow is pretty full too but maybe at least I can finish pulling the charge piping and MAYBE prep a piece or two.

I needed a recharge after working on this thing a bit and keep it all in perspective, and going to watch 7sec nostalgic front engine fuelie rail cars did the trick

Precicion Turbo 78mm GTH .96 a/r exhaust, from what Ive read, and the dimensions I've looked at, the compressor case is a little bigger than the Turbonetics, thats why it looks so big, its only a 78mm though. I believe its an S trim wheel

Its a "bulkhead" fitting, Its 1/2 NPT threads on one side, and -10AN on the outside where you see. Theres also a jam-nut inside the pan holding it tight, I loc-tite'd that nut and put a bead of sealer around the hole before I tightened it up, so theres no chance for a leak around the fitting, and the nut wont come off inside.

As far as the rest of the drain goes, I've got a billet block that bolts to the bottom of the turbo with a gasket and -10AN fitting pointing straight down. The hose is basically a custom length hydraulic hose with -10 ends. I may put a 45* fitting between the hose and the oil pan fitting depending on how it fits in the truck, the hose is pretty stiff... regular braided or push-lock will work too and may be easier to deal with since its not so rigid. I went with stiffer hose so it wouldnt bind up and cause a restriction in the gravity feed of the oil back to the pan. Ive also got a pan with the hole right in the front if youre interested, I'd be willing to let it go cheap, I got it with some other stuff as "extra" and already have 3 pans sitting here... either way works. the front hole may be easier depending on your final turbo location.
