as for the fuel line to feed out of the stock tank? a warlboro 255 in tank with one of these..

Im pretty sure this will be fine, once the ST is filled, 6 gallons, I doubt it will ever get below 5 gallons, with plenty of fuel on demand at all times.

had a long day today... magazine came up and did a few tech articles, here is what I had done.
Autometer triple gauge pod
Phatom II Boost Gauge
Phatom II Fuel pressure gauge
Phantom Wideband
Wired up the Ecutouts to a hidden switch in the dash. Wired up the solenoids in the doors to the alarm, along with the remote tonneau cover (open) and 3rd brake light... i can pop both doors, and the lid with the remote, quick picture of the pod.. dash/pillars/painted silver and blue

It is mounted super solid, as hard as the factory pillar is to remove, is how secure it is.
I got lucky and found a stereo shop local that does some really custom work... shop has been in the same location for 17 years, same owner too. I used to know him when I competed in IASCA back in the early 90's.
Awesome guy to work with, he is prompt, on time and follows through with what he promises. Doesnt give you the run around or make excuses and blame other people for his lack of responsiblity... yes, I have had dealt with crap stereo shops in the past on this truck and some of my other cars. I had an alarm installed in a past car, when I got in, the cruise control no longer worked, etc.

He doesnt allow any of his installers to wear anything except sweats or athletic shorts - ie no buttons, zippers, etc. Every single wire gets shielded, and the only time they use split loom is on the under carriage, and even then they use braided sheathing. All connections are soldered too, or they makes their own molex plugs. I am very attention to detail oriented and hard to work with at times, due to peoplle half-assing projects...
-RANT time -
It is bullshit when you work with someone, and they give you a "deal" but then turn around and give you "mediocre work" I want the best job, for whatever price you give me, deal or not...
That is why I could never own my own "Custom Shop" It would drive me insane.
But that is why I have accomplished what I have in my own business and a reputation for having a great program... I hire the best guys in the field, and while other companies pay the standard $xx per day, I pay my guys usually DOUBLE the industry standard, plus take care of them with meals, and more. The end result?? happy customers... which at the end of the day means more to me than cutting corners and saving a couple of dollars.

i hear ya on that D. when i had my nav installed, the shop out here didn't do what i wanted and also brutalized my wiring. i had feedback through my speakers, their solution was just to put a "noise reducer" in (which still didn't solve the problem all the way). i ended up taking my truck to ventura in order to get it fixed.
so FYI everyone...Audio Express here in Vegas =
(factory 6 disc in-op + feedback) they said they could do the work, but when they didn't do what they said they could do, the excuse was "running the navigation while still utilizing the factory 6 disc is impossible." after i got it fixed right, they gave me a free i pod hook up, and offered to install it for free. i knew all they wanted to do was see how the shop in Ventura made it work right, so i declined the offer and installed the hook up myself.
and Oskars Electronics in Ventura =
(navigation, working factory 6 disc and no more feedback)

wow, know a few guys can relate to why I am starting to hate my F'n truck ahahahahaha...
all the bullshit involved with building something right, regardless of the level, is a pain in the ***... and the bigger the build the more bullshit.
**** shops, **** products, **** customer care = FTMFL!
Back in a college after a long *** double day practice in 110* heat in Sacramento summer, some freshman was whining to the coach about water or some ****, and made some comment about the practice being hard... coach said "Its the hard that makes it great, if it were easy, everyone would do it..." which made a lot of sense, but then he muttered to the guy..."youre a fatboy, that was easy to do, shoving big macs down your piehole...right?" half the team fell out laughing.
ok, back on thread...
