The black tank you see above is this below, just powdercoated.
The main OE fuel tank will have a warlboro pump feeding this surge tank (-10 in) the surge tank will house an eliminator fuel pump (submersible) along with a filter. The FP will feed -10 up to the motor through another filter, and a pro series regulator and it will be boost referenced, and the fuel pump will be speed regulated. A -8 return line will go back to the Surge tank, which will have a vent/overflow system that will go back into the main tank - which is vented through the cap (larger line). I didnt design the system, Aeromotive did, along with Ricks Hot Rod Tanks in texas.
The entire system will be fastened with black AN fittings and stainless braided lines.
The Surge tank was reported to hold 6 gallons at peak... here are some more pics.

This is way overkill for my needs... but isnt that the point of this damn truck

oh yea - im not using 79# injectors... I have 96# LE injectors from Racetronix, along with an AEM driver box, wire harness and pig tails... 90mm LS7 TB and a DR X harness.
That diagram was done with old specs - the tank only holds 6 gallons.

Dave made the choice of not doing the SSS cladding, simply because his trck isnt originally an SS and he never liked people saying "it looks good but it still not a real SS". i told him he shoulda did the claddng but it turned out just as great without all of it...

damn saw you posted and got excited thinking truck pictures...the truck may be the Prom Queen but you didn't put out for me!
....j/k guys...
okay i understand this will NOT be your DD & i don't blame you...it wouldn't be mine either...but out of sheer curiosity do you plan on running it down a 1/4? i would imagine you would dyno test just to get the tune right of course...

well i cant run a 1/4 mile on an open track day - i dont have door handles, shaved them, but I do have some connections to possibly run on a private day, but at this point im not really concerned about times.

you should take a set of stock door handles and put magnets on the back of them. That way you can run at the track. Just hope that they don't fly off, lol, that'd be a fun one to explain.

If the event promoter putting on the private day is following track mandated regulations you will still be required to adhere to NHRA regulations.
