I'm thinking the frame and/or suspension is in for some color.

yea i am going to chrome the whole truck - ->
NO WAY WOULD I PAINT THE WHEELS...

I will clean up the frame and paint most of it, but it has the wax undercoat from the factory So i wont get to extreme...

OK here is the next mod, so to speak, i have decided it is just too plain of a blue and needs some killer flames/ghosted tribal/ with pin striped and maybe some 3D effects... variations of blues and flaked blues and silver...

I saw a truck this weekend painted by a local guy here that was going to paint my N20 Bottle, and wow did it pop!

I am going to meet with him this week to discuss details... but it should be something really sick... I am very particular, ok ****, about the look of this truck, last thing i want to do is ruin it, while it is super clean looking now, I want something a little more aggressive looking... something to match the motor - supercharger setup.

Im looking forward to it!

That's easy to remove. I am the same way about my stuff. I did it on my 99 suburban. A Hot Water pressure washer does the trick. It comes out at around 200 degress and around 3000 PSI. You need the heat, a standard pressure washer will not do it alone. Then a quick trip to the Media blaster gets it ready for paint. I only have a few pictures but I think you get the idea... My media blaster guy was impressed. He didn't wanna do it at first because he thought it would still have that crap on it here and there but once I explianed That I had it completey stripped to bare steel He said bring it by and he would give it a shot but would not make any promisses. When it arrived He asked if I had it acid dipped or something. I explained what I did and how it cleaned so well and he was impressed. It was well worth having it Blasted. I started trying to clean and sand the frame my self but It was going to be big $$$ for all the sand paper and Wax and Grease remover. It was way cheaper and less time consuming to have it media blasted. When it came back I only had to touch it up in a few spots from moving it around and it went right in to the both...
I do all my own work with the exception of things like Blasting, powder coating, and Specialized Machine work. And thats only because I don't have the equipment.

I was guessing flames, just hoping not. I like the paint just as is. The one color look to me is much more of a clean look. Like a real Z06 or something.

is there anything coming on the zr1 vettes? if there is any type of design on them I would go with that since its closer to what your building.

Dave, I haven't read thru all 26 pgs. But I will, before this turns into a MoreGrip novel. I member seeing the paint @ beginning stage of build. Part of the reason I love your truck is the phenomal paint. I'm w/ Zippy & lsx10, keep that look. But it's your truck, so do what makes u happy. I say just do some ghost flames. To me, there's only a few flame colors I'd use if goin the route of color instead of ghosting. I'M PICKY when it comes to flame color(s). Once, I looked online @ 197 flame jobs. I liked 3. The wrong color flame(s) can make or break. As it stands, it's phenomenal! From what I have seen, I offer this up. That exhaust work is pure art.
C'mon, I didn't see any engine pics. U tease. But, again, I didn't read every pg.

And let's get that sound clip that Rob, & others, incl. me, want to hear. W/ & w/o cutouts open.
