In the end I think this project has helped you learn much more about trucks, performance parts, and general mechanic's. You already had style wrapped up even before this build, but hands down you deserve more credit than some have given you for the work you put in this build. When I first talked to you a couple years ago before your Lsx build really started you didn't seem much like the type to pick up a wrench for your own stuff. Now I don't think you'd have it any other way. Congrats on the magazine, getting into S.E.M.A., and learning more in a year or so time than many will ever learn about this stuff.
Zippy, coming from you that is a big compliment, thanks. I do have the pictures and the LONG nights to prove I did most of this build in my shop with the help of a friend - Simon... every part of this motor swap, trans install, driveline swap, fuel system setup, and the entire motor bay was done by the two of us in my shop.
And yes, you are correct, I will do 90% of all my future builds... the other 10% I am learning... which includes tuning, which is the last thing left on the truck - a good tune.
