Btw. You need to switch to the low mount alternator like mine. It would clean up the top of that engine bay.

Havent looked at the thread but im sure he just cut and boxed the frame which is easy enough. My problem is the factory ac box, fan and drier. These headers take up a lot of room in a s10

it's running good again. fresh springs all the way around and it feels strong backfires and popping is gone. more importantly that tap is gone. if it's not 1 thing it's another. from my 50mph punch, the radiator came loose from the core support. the radiator hose got a hole burnt into it by the belt. i'll replace it and get back to tuning it. I want to go to the track on Friday with a buddy of mine to see what it does running all 8.

Good to hear. But bad luck in the radiator hose. It will all get lined out in time, and hopefully no wrecker bills.

You gonna trailer it Friday with Zone or drive it?

the track is only 30 minutes or so from home so i will probably drive it (depending on how the tuning goes this week)

new upper hose and drove it again tonight. lean as **** at very light throttle and lean at WOT. 13.5-13.7 seems to be the avg. i'm currently 4 sizes up on the 2ndary. i'm going to go up 4 sizes on the primary and see what happens. i doubt that i will get the tune lined out enough to visit the track again. i'm still running into fuel pressure issues.

fires up perfect at 7psi, then drops to 4psi 20 minutes into a ride. question: will heat to a cable cause resistance when trying to get alternator power to the battery if the extreme heat source is between the two? my 2 gauge battery wire is about an 1.5" from a primary.
