too many 2am nights of wrenching has me dragging at work. i'm cutting it close to get it to the alignment rack tomorrow. tonight will be another 2am night. quick fuel sent my carb back yesterday so will probably be here early next week. in the meantime i have a buddies holley 750 to drive on. it's got a good baseline tune in the trans and engine. everything has to go perfect with no hickups to get it to the alignment rack tomorrow. i wont be able to drive it at all before i take it to the alignment rack so hopefully nothing stupid happens that costs me a wrecker bill. deadlines suck

Why not go ahead and trailer it to avoid that possibility?

Would seem much easier...

cant call it a street truck if you trailer it everywhere if it's going to break, i want it to go now so i can have it fixed before SAR.

Trailers are for wimps. Find a closer alignment shop and Fred Flintstone (push) that bitch up there.

drove it about 10 miles last night, and i'm about 12 miles from home at the alignment shop right now. it's a cruiser. the 4600 converter doesnt feel loose at all.

it's useless on the street anywhere in 1st or 2nd gear from any punch. it needs exhaust!! and insurance and registration and inspection lol.

this thing drives STRAIGHT when burning the tires. i can let go of the wheel, stomp it from a stop and never get squirley. hopefully an alignment doesnt F that up LOL. think i'm going to go ahead and hit the trans brake at SAR.
