i dont have the truck in my posession yet. He is driving it until he purchases a new truck. he needed the money for down payment. i told him if the deal on his new truck falls through he can keep the silverado and just give my money back. crossing my fingers that he comes home with a new ford today.

my buddy showed up with a 13 model f250 super duty loaded out last night.

WOW, that's a nice damn truck!! the interrior makes chevy interrior look like childs play junk. i was impressed. the turbo diesel is QUIET.

anyways that means i am the proud new owner of a 2002 silverado HD with an interrior that i am now disgusted with

what's the story on the 2-1 down shift problem?
whenever you come to a stop and try to take off, the trans will "stick" in 2nd gear. So when you goto take off, it boggs for a sec, and then downshifts back to first

The cure, is to bore the valve bore out, and replace it with an over sized valve in the valve body. It's a reamer kit
