didnt touch it over the weekend. don't want to start it again without the fans and a temp sensor on it...summit racing just got some more of my money...battery relocation kit, autometer coolant temp sensor, painless dual fan controller with a sending unit and some misc fittings to finish off the intake.

pretty annoyed right now. summit split my order into two boxes. a 4$ fitting, and the rest of the $28x worth of **** was in another box. i ordered on monday so i could get it by the weekend and get the cooling system finished so i can start the truck and let it run as long as i wanted.
the big box says it was delivered but there was nothing on my porch. summit is sending me a replacement but it wont be here until next week. i'm on vacation the last half of next week through the weekend. there goes 2 weeks of wrench time. this thing will never be finished.

got my parts from summit...finished plugging sensors into heads and clamped the hoses down. I was too excited to start it so I just ran 1 electric fan directly to the battery. had to spend about 30 seconds (literally) toying with the idle screws and now this 237/242 110lsa cam runs and sounds like a ***** cam! idles 160* with only 1 fan running. throttle is snappy! noticed fuel pressure dropped back to 6psi from 7 just before this video. for some reason the alternator isn't doing it's thing. i'll have it tested next weekend. I also need to keep an eye on the water pump neck. a little water bubbled out of it while I was trying to get the block to take water. it's not done so don't fuss about my temporary wiring to make sure everything is working...and I know my return fuel line isn't mounted yet ;P
