I spoke to APR yesterday, they are sending me a new bolt...guy said he never seen that happen before...and i agree some rust is to be expected, but this has been practically parked in the garage, it got installed in the vehicle end of November, maybe early december...maybe saw one rain storm we got as i was driving back home once...

Stock bolt lasted 100K miles driven in winters...no rust at all

Glad you got the noise identified. If its all free and clear I want a beat run on camera!

You know you're approaching (I'll use that term loosely... you're already in it) meth territory
I got the jeep now...we can E85

Well see...not many 85 stations around here...i take this thing in trips in summer...wont be just a minor modification either so its debatable which route to choose...i do need the meth working again! its all hooked up just my old MAF driven Snow unit (second one) worked intermittently...

Stock bolt is also coated to prevent rust. The ARP bolt is not. If you don't want it to rust, I suggest spray painting the head black.

If you don't have to send the rusted one back and are willing to part with it, I will take it. PM me if interested.

YEah they still look small under the steam rollers...so u can imagine how it looked under the stock rotors...here is a pic of them tucked under the stock 20" rim...i had to be careful not to scratch the caliper...

I have only driven up to 50-60 mph for some initial break in and she bites...very effortless and she has no problem chirping the tires....i cant imagine what the rears will do...definitely makes the car feel lighter...mostly excited to see how she does on the freeeway as well as when i tow the little boat around...
