Well got the truck to move under its own power! I got a start up tune from Wheatley and she runs good. Got the clutch bled out but the pedal is all the way down to the floor so I think I need to bleed it out some more. Also got the bed back on it, tail lights, headlights, grille and other things. Finally looks like a truck again Dont mind the black parking light. Mine other ones are currently being "borrowed" and these are the only ones I had left. Still gotta cut the lower valance. Ill prolly just cut my stock one up for now, then later one get a Tahoe valence.

We brought it in the shop and got a lot of little things accomplished. The cold pipe going into the throttle body was a little short seeing Im not using a MAF so we welded a little section of pipe on it.

Went ahead and put the IAT sensor in an EGR block off plate and ran the wires from the MAF sensor to it. Also got the fuel pressure sending unit for my gauge installed and the wires run.

Got that all done and realized that we forgot all about an air cleaner set up. I had the K&N filter from my old FIPK so I thought I'd use that. Well the inlet is 6" and the inlet of the turbo is 5" so we tried Home Depot, Napa and a few other places to make something work. I called a friend who has a bunch of old trucks and I was able to make something work. I got a few elbow and connectors off an old White 10 wheeler. Looks pretty cool if ya ask me Ill prolly sand it down and paint it and get new couplers. Im going to get a bunch of different hoses to clean up the engine bay but this way I can at least get the truck going and see what I need to buy.

Heres all the gauges in. Got the Wideband on top, boost gauge, tach, fuel pressure is on the column and dual aeroforces and pyro in the center console cluster. Ran 2 fuse blocks and relays for all the gauges, one for power and one to turn on the lights. I gotta order some blue LEDs for the boost, fuel pressure and pyro.

Got a pro 5.0 shifter for the trans. Still need to patch the holes in the floors and bend the new shifter handle to run with the full center console.

Power steering pump is junk that I put on it so I gotta get a new one. Hope this weekend to change the pump and go down road with it.

Heres a quick video of me backing the truck outta the shop and parking it. You can really hear the power steering pump whine... Really surprised at how damn fast this thing is in 1st even with the 4.88s! Dont mind me taking a half hour trying the get it into reverse I need to wire up the reverse lockout detent to my brake light or something like that.

Runs pretty good but then again I really havnt taken it over 2500 really. I hope to start to take some logs and get the tune dialed in a lot better. Sounds a lot different that what I thought it would, but then again I just have the downpipe. Sure it will sound different with the tail pipe on it.

Well I honestly was just going to run straight pipe all the way back and my buddy is giving me a 4" MBRP tail pipe but this is pretty damn loud Another one of my friends has an 4" muffler he took off his duramax so I may snag that from him and run a cutout. I want to see what it sounds like at the higher RPM range first before I make a decision. What did you run for an exhaust?
