The kit was built almost exactly for the same goal you are but using BW 257sxe’s. Yep already have the battery out back and once I get this body off to get the frame PC’d I’ll swap the Hydroboost in there. You going to run 2.5” or 3” DP’s?

Man, that’s my next project as soon as I move to my new place and have some room to work. The amount of frustration trying to work on, clean, and touch up the frame with the wax all over it is UNREAL. I’ve cussed it countless times lol.

Im going to try to fit 3” downpipes on both sides. The pass side is easy, I think I can make it work on the drivers side, I’m just going to have to reroute some brake lines and a wiring harness. The hydro boost should definitely help too.

Those turbos should make some serious power, what are you shooting for? What displacement?

I think you’ll be able to as I see Trick now offers a 3” so I’ll be going back for a set after I give this setup a go. Yeah those should be about it I’d guess, I have it a bit easier with the Holley setup as I ran the harness from in cab up the tunnel to the back of the engine. I still have the OEM fuse box powering all factory items but no wiring running from it to the engine.

Well for the first round on this 370 will probably be around 800ish I’d guess with the T4 .68 housings spinning it to 6500ish or less. If any BP issues arise for some reason I can bump up to .81’s. I was told these turbos on an 80E are capable of 900whp on these housings and up to 1100 on bigger. I won’t try to push that on a forged piston Gen 3 rod motor. I’m on the fence as to just replace the rods and lean on it or leave it buttoned up and sell a nice low mileage H/C/I forged piston motor to build something for a set of 6262’s, 6265’s, or 6565’s to really make some steam.

Got that done yet? Lol
