Default Gen-TT Truck Twin Turbo Kit

LS1 Turbo in Aussie is planning to build a twin turbo kit for LS-based Trucks.

Who's interested in a Gen-TT Truck Twin Turbo Kit?

How would turbos be best placed, underhood or similar to F-body kit?

What turbo size would be good for torque down low?

i think it would go over well, because currently we dont have a production twinturbo kit, and we only have 2 different single front mounts.

i think that the kit should place the turbos underhood becuase we have plenty of room, unless it is a towing application, then underhood temps could get too high and then it might be better to have a mid mount or rear mount setup

i would think something like a twin 60-1s would be plenty for a 6.0L and smaller turbos for the 4.8/5.3. im not too familiar with turbos myself

Would be awsome, I think pricing would have to be some what competitive though with the single turbo systems...

Dammit, this would have to happen after I have bought and begun fabricating my own kit.

I would have said yes though. I wound up going with twin garrett t04B turbos, on the stock 6.0.

Would it be possible for them to build cast exhaust manifolds up to the turbos?

Gas turbos get hotter than Diesel turbos? I dont see why a twin turbo gas truck cant be a tow truck as well. Someone enlighten me..

I would say that tuning the gas engine is more difficult...as load increases, boost usually does as well, and so when towing your original tune (done at a certain boost level, not towing) is now thrown off and there's a chance of engine damage.

For my twin kit, I am using stock exhaust manifolds flipped around. Cheap and effective, long lasting, and better flow and sound retention than tubular pipe.
