Default Turbo 4x4 K5

Hey guys, though i'd share my project. It's a '86 K5 Blazer with a turbo 5.3/4l80e/NP208. I went through the 5.3 w/ all new bearings, seals, gaskets, arp hardware, studs, zo6 cam, dual springs, ls9 head gaskets. All new accessories up front. The turbo is a good ol' GT45. This is my first turbo build, so i figured i could always replace it later. Interior has dakota digital gauges with boost and AFR. 2012 mustang GT seats w/ helicopter harnesses. All new lights. Like I said it's a project, so as we all know, you're never done. Thanks for looking!

Thanks, it still needs to have the tune tweaked a bit, but it's drives great. We brought it to Crusin' the Coast in Biloxi a few months back, it handled the week great.

Engine: 5.3
Clevite main bearings
Durabond cam bearings
ARP rod bolts
ARP head studs
LS9 headgasket
zo6 camshaft
TSP oil pump
LS6 chain
340 Aeromotive stealth pump
60lb injectors
New fuel tank and lines
GT45 Turbo
JGS BOV and WG
3" S/S coldside piping
4" downpipe
Electric fans
New Radiator
Mighty Mouse catch can

Drivetrain:
Jasper transmissions rebuilt the 4L80E
My father and I rebuilt the NP208
Auxiliary trans-cooler mounted underneath w/ e-fan
Factory axles for now, 14 bolt waiting in the shop
33/12.50/15 Destination ATs on Rally wheels

Interior and exterior:
Dakota Digital VHX gauges w/ boost and AFR
2012 Mustang seats w/ helicopter harnesses
Back seat covered to match
Rubber floors
Custom built roll cage
New lights throughout
Truck tailgate
Softopper Top
Power locks and windows

I'm sure i'm forgetting something. This side pick is showing the downpipe before we modified the fender-well and painted it black. The topless pick is the maiden voyage before the cage.

No a/c for now. I did install a new condenser, because I'm planning on installing a compressor before the summer. I can either put it down low by the frame or install a high mount bracket from LSbrackets.com

A crew cab would be sweet. I miss a stick though, I've thought about putting a 4x4 t56 in it.

Wasnt sure if the nv4500 would hold up. Yep the rockland price is what would be holding me up. S475 should put down enough for the crew.

Love it!
I'm doing my first turbo build as well, 85 K10 with identical drivetrain as yours.
I have a KB manifold but I don't see it clearing the frame so I may copy what you did here.
What intercooler kit did you use? Dementions?
